HAVE US MAKE YOU AN OUD
We build the Arbach Oud in a range of models and prices, so we can make it available to all types of musician. Our three models are the Concert Model, the Master Model, and the Student Model.
All our models are handcrafted and constructed with the same degree of expert care, and each one goes through an extensive 2-3 month period of personal and electronic testing.
The difference in price is dependent on the wood we use and the sound the instrument makes. For instance, if we were to have a 40-year-old German spruce top available, we’d use it to build a Concert model, our highest-priced model. If we were to blend two types of maple on an oud, we’d do so on a Student model.
There’s a minor difference of appearance between the Student model and the other two models, but in general our models look almost the same, and all produce sounds of great richness.

To commission any model of oud, contact us at arbachoud@gmail.com. Waiting time for a commissioned oud is 6-12 months. All models come with a durable case, built in our own workshop.
A special price is available for sponsors who wish to donate an Arbach Oud as an award to an outstanding oud student at a music school, to a student in ethnomusicology at an academic institution, or to a recognized oud player performing at an internationally recognized concert hall. A special price is also available to museums, galleries, and collectors of traditional and modern musical instruments.
